Asmel, we are looking for 37 professional profiles

From today, 10 June and until 25 June, it is possible to submit a request to participate in the third maxi-notice for the selection of 37 lists of those suitable for hiring in 4,470 Asmel local authorities. The notice published on the InPa portal is aimed at creating and updating the lists of 37 professional profiles for graduates, diploma holders and specialized workers.

The List of suitable candidates is a procedure introduced in 2021 by the Recruitment Legislative Decree and gives local authorities the opportunity to organize and manage unique selections in aggregate form for the formation of lists of those suitable for permanent and fixed-term hiring (including seasonal ones), for various professional profiles and categories, thus covering all the needs of the organizations adhering to the specific agreement. It is a much faster recruitment method than classic public competitions and the scrolling of the rankings of other bodies, allowing hiring to be finalized in just 4-5 weeks, as demonstrated by the 740 Asmel member bodies who have adopted this procedure as early as 2022.

The Municipalities are looking for young, trained and motivated staff as well as technical profiles and specialists to meet the challenges of the Pnrr. In this context, the List of suitable procedure, already tested by 740 institutions in two years, is the solution for the needs of the present and the future

In 2023, 117,000 applications were completed from all over Italy with 60% of candidates between 31 and 40 years old. 545 suitable candidates have already been hired and a further 370 recruitment procedures are currently underway. Almost 60% are employed on a permanent basis and 42% of those hired are under 35 years old.

For Asmel President Giovanni Caggiano, «The Asmel procedure is the right combination between the standardization of national competitions and meeting the needs of candidates. In recent years it has proven to be an effective and concrete response to the high rate of withdrawals, close to 60%, in national competitions, putting the candidates’ needs and territorial preferences in the foreground. In fact, candidates who are found eligible can choose which interviews to participate in, also preferring municipalities neighboring their place of residence. This ensures motivated and satisfied future employees.»

For the third maxi-notice it is possible to apply for one or more profiles via the www.asmelab.it platform. After passing the pre-selection test conducted by Asmel consisting of 60 multiple choice questions, suitable candidates remain registered on the list for 3 years or until the date of their permanent hiring. With a further selective test managed by the body that called the interview, we move on to hiring with a procedure that ends in a maximum of 4-5 weeks, as proven by the experience gained.
