The doctors tried in every way to save his life, but it was useless. The 32-year-old who was involved in a serious accident between two cars at the Origgio-Uboldo junction between the Varesina state road and the A9 motorway on the morning of Monday 10 June died at the Circolo di Varese hospital.
The crash occurred around 5am on the junction for the entrance to the A9; for reasons still being ascertained, two cars had collided violently: the 32-year-old was driving the first, a 48-year-old was behind the wheel of the second and two minors with her. All four were injured. A 32-year-old man was very serious and was thrown out of the passenger compartment due to the impact, suffering significant head and face trauma, as well as a wound to an arm.
The driver of the car with the minors, a 48-year-old, had suffered trauma to her abdomen and ended up in the Legnano emergency room. One of the girls, 12 years old, had been taken by helicopter to Bergamo due to trauma to her abdomen and pelvis. The other young girl, 14 years old, had suffered trauma to her leg and was hospitalized at San Gerardo.
