He gave a girl a slap at the end of an argument for trivial reasons, linked to a car manoeuvre, causing the victim a state of shock. The carabinieri are hunting for a man of around sixty years of age, the perpetrator of the attack against MC, a 32 year old from Cagliari.
The episode occurred yesterday afternoon just before 2pm, after the Ichnusa pier roundabout. The 32-year-old put on the indicator to pull over and at that point the driver of the car (a Polo) following her, perhaps annoyed by the manoeuvre, expressed his disappointment first by honking his horn and then with some invectives directed at the woman.
After receiving the answer, the sixty-year-old stopped the car in the middle of the lane, got out and kicked the 32-year-old’s car door before hitting her with a slap in the face, getting back into the car and running away.
After the attack, the shocked woman went to the hospital where she was found to have a slap injury and was given two days of treatment. The police are investigating the matter and are in possession of the license plate number of the attacker’s car. “Luckily I didn’t suffer any injuries, just panic and shock at what happened. If someone in transit had witnessed the scene as a witness it would be of help to me,” wrote MC on social media.
