Causes an accident while driving a motorbike while drunk, on drugs, without a license or insurance

He had lost control of his motorbike when it hit a pole, fortunately without suffering any particular injuries. Subjected to checks by the Carabinieri, he was found in a state of psychophysical alteration due to alcohol and drugs.

THE Carabinieri of Bourbonreceived a report from some passers-by who had seen a man who, riding his motorcycle, a Suzuki 150, had crashed into a road sign pole.
Once on site, the military identified the driver of the vehicle that went off the road and is a resident of Rieti.
Accompanied to the hospital in the capital for treatment, the man was subjected to an alcohol test which highlighted a state of psychophysical alteration due to recent alcohol abuse, with a blood alcohol level well above the expected threshold. Thanks to further medical checks, it emerged that the driver had also taken cocaine.
The subsequent examination of the vehicle’s documents provided further unpleasant surprises. The motor vehicle with which the accident occurred had no insurance coverage and the person concerned had never obtained a driving licence.
At the end of the investigations, the man was reported free for driving while intoxicated and under the influence of drugs, as well as sanctioned for driving without a license and without insurance coverage with the consequent administrative detention of the vehicle.
