He robbed two girls on the street, threatening to kill them with a stone. It happened on Saturday morning in via XX Settembre in Perugia.
The two minors, while they were busy counting the money they had with them, were approached by the 42-year-old Moroccan – with a criminal record – who snatched the cash from their hands. Upon the reaction of the minors, in order to make them give up and escape, the man grabbed a stone and threatened to kill them and hit them; at that point, after scaring them, he disappeared.
The police, having arrived on site, made contact with the young people and, with their help, began searching for the man who was found shortly afterwards at the bus stop in via Cacciatore delle Alpi.
Upon seeing the operators, the 42-year-old attempted to get rid of the money, but was immediately blocked and taken to the police station.
At the end of the ritual activities, he was arrested for the crime of improper robbery and, at the order of the public prosecutor, accompanied to the prison of Perugia – Capanne, at the disposal of the judicial authority.
The money, however, was returned to the two young people.
