Lupebasket triumph at the “3×3 A1 female Techfind” event, held over the weekend in Roseto degli Abruzzi. The quartet composed of Francesca Russo, Anastasia Conte, Irene Guarise and Daba Diakhoumpa won first place and the trophy, bringing Alama San Martino di Lupari to the roof of Italy in this special event, which involved the most the two newly promoted teams.
After the victory in the group, in which they had put Alpo and Derthona behind them, on Saturday morning the yellow and blacks started with a good success in the quarterfinals against Campobasso. Then the semi-final against Schio was very hard fought, featuring three former Lupes like Peserico, Baldi and Coccato, and decided only in the sprint. Finally, in the decisive match there was the triumph against Battipaglia, which allowed them to win the event and take home the trophy.
The San Martinaro quartet, who at this event in Roseto was accompanied by coach Michele Parolin, succeeds Virtus Bologna in the roll of honor, winner a year ago in San Martino di Lupari. Congratulations to all!
