VALPERGA – They are not just songs, but it is music capable of giving emotions and doing good that is the protagonist on Tuesday 4 June 2024 in Valperga. The ninth edition of the «Note d’oro» singing competition, which took place at the Ambra cinema in Valperga, did not disappoint. The initiative was organized by the Pro loco Valperga Belmonte and by Cinema Ambra in collaboration with the association Noi ci cielo Onlus and Dancing K11. The event, presented by Alessandra Godano, with Valerio Liboni president of the jury and special guest the great magician Alessandro Politi, an Italian comedian who has already starred on TV and in the theatre, was full of applause. Thanks to the contest it was possible to give concrete help to the solidarity project «Together x Rebecca».

12 musicians and singers competed on stage: Alessio Gentili (with «Via» by Claudio Baglioni), Maria Costantino («Ma chefreddo fa» by Nada), the Spice Girls Quartet composed of Viola Moretto, Letizia Pepe, Giorgia Soatin, Giorgia Vitton Gomma (with «Ci pensiero Tomorrow» by Angelina Mango), the Trio Dissonanti (with a medley of the Nuclear Tactical Penguins), Giovanni Bruno («Meraviglioso» by Negramaro/Modugno), Viola Rostagno («Vampire» by Olivia Rodrigo) , Elisa Costanzo (with «Ovunque ordini» by Irama), Stefania Trentinella (with «Pazza» by Loredana Bertè), Aurora Campostrini (with «Voilà» by Emma Kok), Nicolò Bruno (with «Pesto» by Calcutta), Tommaso De Scisciolo («Margherita» by Cocciante) and Susanna Obert (with «Without a crumb of head» by Marcella Bella).

First place in the contest was won by 14-year-old Aurora Campostrini from Cuorgnate. Second place for the 28 year old from Canischio Susanna Obert. Giovanni Bruno, 11 years old from Valperga, took the third step of the podium. The sympathy award, dedicated to Moreno Poletto, went to the young Valperghese members of the Spice Girls Quartet. The interpretation prize, dedicated to Fulvio Varello, was awarded to Stefani Trentinella, 46 years old from Rivarolo Canavese. Grosso Canavese’s Trio Dissonanti won the critics award dedicated to Marco Tarizzo. Tommaso De Sciciolo di Caprie, however, won the special prize in memory of Salvatore Fuoco. Finally, the Ambra prize went to Nicolò Bruno, 9 years old from Valperga. (Thanks to Andrea Cerutti for the photos)
