Prices of sunbeds and umbrellas, where it is best to go in Friuli

The investigation by the Fvg Citizen Defense Movement on the prices of sunbeds and umbrellas.

The Observatory of the Fvg Citizen Defense Movement “MDC FVG” continues to monitor the price of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beaches of Friuli. The crystallization of this sector for decades has led to i prices of bathing establishments, already burdensome, are constantly increasing, as demonstrated by our field investigations of all these yearsthe.

In the coasts of Lignano, Grado and Bibionein which an average increase emerged from 1.75% to 4% (umbrella, sunbed and deckchair), “not attributable to inflation alone” but above all the significant price gap between the beaches of Lignano Sabbiadoro, Riviera and Pineta.

In the latest sample survey carried out at the end of summer 2023 on the Friulian coast, the picture of which beach holidaymakers preferred was also completed. Free or with establishment? In the MDC FVG survey it was found that 26% of the interviewees choose the bathing establishment, 13% the free equipped beach for a fee, 45% the free and free beach with services (such as bars, showers, toilets…) and 16 % the free beach without services.
