The European elections: how to vote and the candidates in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

It’s possible vote for only one listAnd Split voting is not permitted. The voter can draw a mark on the symbol of the chosen list, even without indicating candidates. THE names of any candidates chosen they must be indicated on the lines printed to the right of the symbol, writing the surname or the name and surname in case of homonymy.

They can be expressed from one to three preferences. In the case of two or three preferences, they must refer to candidates of different genders, otherwise the second or second and third preferences will be cancelled. Candidates must belong to the voted list.

Italy elects 76 MEPs, of which 15 in the Northeast constituency of which Friuli Venezia Giulia is also part. Among the candidates, 18 come from (or are linked to) our region (the list at this link). On the website of the Ministry of the Interior, however, you can see the lists of all the candidates in the North-East constituency (II).

Municipal elections: how to vote and all the candidates in the running.

I am There are 114 municipalities in Friuli Venezia Giulia (for a total of almost 293 thousand voters) called to renew the mayor and municipal councils in the administrative elections of 8 and 9 June: of these, 81 are in the territory of the former province of Udine, 16 in that of Pordenone, 14 in that of Gorizia and 3 in that of Trieste.

In all, i there are 224 candidates for the office of mayor (including 56 women) supported by 334 lists. In 28 municipalities there is only one candidate and in these cases the election will be valid if at least 40% of those entitled to vote (residents) and if the candidate receives at least 50% of the valid votes. There will be no runoffs given that none of the localities involved exceed 15 thousand inhabitants.

We vote for a mayoral candidate making a mark on his name (in this case, the vote does not extend to the linked lists). Or it can be traced the sign on the name of the mayor and on that of one of the lists who supports him (if you mark only the list, the vote is automatically extended to the connected mayor as well). Attention: the split vote is not valid so if you vote for a mayor and a list that are not connected, the vote goes only to the mayor and not to the list.

Finally, in addition to the mayoral candidate and the list, you can vote for one or two councilorswriting their surname in the lines next to the voted list (if only the surnames of the councilors are written, the vote automatically passes also to their list and to the connected mayor). If two names are indicated, they must be one male and one female (under penalty of cancellation of the second preference) and must belong to the same list.
