On Saturday 8 June, throughout the weekend, the summer season in Bardonecchia officially kicks off with the opening of the Bike Park ski lifts. For every weekend of the month, from 9am to 5.45pm, the cross-country, free-ride and downhill paradise will allow all bikers to speed along the adrenaline-filled paths that wind along the peaks of Colomion and Monte Melezet district. The adventure continues as always on board the Alpine Coaster, the two-seater sled which from 10am to 6pm will offer exciting descents through the woods of Campo Smith, among the games in the greenery of the Adventure Park, open from 10am to 5pm, and in riding one of the mountain bikes made available by the Campo Smith bike rental service from 9am to 5pm. The gastronomic offerings also continue to delight guests: from the Waikiki restaurant, in the Melezet area, open from Friday for dinner, throughout the weekend from 9am to 11pm, to then move on to the Pian del Sole restaurant, which opens the doors of its kitchen every weekend in June from 9am to 5pm, up to the Harald’s restaurant, in Campo Smith, open every day from 7.30am to 11pm.
THE BIKE PARK
Located in the area of the Bardonecchia ski lifts, it is a real paradise for bikers who can try their hand at numerous disciplines here. The entire area offers over 400 kilometers of trails that develop from 1300 meters above sea level up to 3000 meters and offers more than 40 routes directly served by the ski lifts. All routes are signposted and classified (green, blue, red, black, descending) so that you can identify the one best suited to your abilities. Cross country: routes characterized by little difference in altitude and many passages in panoramic points. Routes suitable for the whole family. Free ride: to travel around our mountains facing some climbs but above all exciting descents on equipped routes where you will also find technical passages with parabolic turns and wooden walkways. Routes suitable for more experienced bikers. Downhill: routes for lovers of downhill and speed with technical passages on parabolic turns, walkways, cliff drops and jumps for always breathtaking descents. Routes suitable for more experienced bikers. And for the little ones. Junior Park: located in Pian del Sole at the arrival of the four-seater chairlift. Children will be able to have fun in safety by walking along a path specially equipped with tilting, parabolic and bumpy wooden walkways. Route suitable for children.
