PADUA – There are 30 scrutineers missing one day before the European and local elections and the Municipality of Padua publishes an urgent notice on its website. This morning, June 7, an urgent announcement appeared on Padovanet in which the Giordani administration is looking for scrutineers in view of the elections tomorrow and next Sunday.
There are no scrutineers one day before the polls open
«For the next European elections, the municipal administration needs scrutineers – we read in the notice – To join, simply make a request by submitting a form to the competent office. The request to be submitted is the form for registration in the Register of polling agents, which must be sent in one of the following ways: directly to the electoral office at Piazza Capitaniato, 19 on the days and times it is open to the public; via email to [email protected] with a copy of a valid identity document attached».
«We actually had a problem with the scrutineers – confirms the councilor for registry services, Francesca Benciolini – Some sent the cancellation, while others did not confirm their presence. However, the problem is being resolved. We have already recruited around fifteen people and we hope to fill all the vacant positions before the polls open».
