Attack in Treviso: baby gang attacks two eighteen year olds | Today Treviso | News

TREVISO – Violent attack by a baby gang: it happened last April 25th near the classical high school of Treviso. Six minors with their faces covered attacked two eighteen-year-olds for no apparent reason, in an attack reminiscent of a punitive expedition.

The attack occurred on the evening of Liberation Day, when the two boys met on the walls near Porta Santi Quaranta. The initial tranquility was interrupted by the arrival of the six young attackers who, after having surrounded them, threw them to the ground and hit them with kicks and punches, also damaging the glasses of one of the victims.

The victims went to the emergency room of the Ca’ Foncello hospital for the necessary care: for them seven day prognosis. Subsequently, they filed a complaint with the police station. Thanks to the testimonies and the footage from the video surveillance cameras, the police managed to identify one of the attackers, a sixteen-year-old Italian resident in the province, reported for complicity in continuous multi-aggravated injuries and damage.

The investigations, led by the Flying Squad, are still underway to identify the other five members of the gang, probably already known to the police. This episode takes place in a context of growing violence by baby gangs in the province of Treviso, with attacks taking place with disturbing regularity and without apparent motivation.
