Deaths in Gaza have exceeded 36,500 since the start of the war.
Gaza’s Hamas-run Health Ministry said at least 36,586 people had been killed in the territory during the more than seven-month Israeli attack. While at least 83,074 people have been injured since the start of the war.
The death toll from the raid on a school in the city of Nuseirat has also risen, causing at least 45 deaths and dozens of injuries, reports the Palestinian agency Wafa.
Local sources quoted by the media report that the Israel Defense Forces attacked a children’s school in Al Sardi used as a shelter for thousands of people. As always happens, most of the injured are women and children, the agency reports.
For their part, the Israel Defense Forces justified the attack by claiming that Hamas terrorists were present in the school. Their statement reads that several “terrorists” who were operating from a compound of the Palestinian Hamas movement inside a UNRWA school, the UN agency that deals with Palestinian refugees, in the Nuseirat area were eliminated.
The statement said that “a series of measures were taken before the attack” from the air to “reduce the risk of harming uninvolved civilians”, including through aerial surveillance and additional intelligence information. But despite these completely insignificant precautions, over thirty people lost their lives, but for Tel Aviv they were all evidently Hamas terrorists.
A review of videos taken by CNN of the Israeli airstrike on a UN-run school in central Gaza has revealed that the weapons used are US-made. An explosive weapons expert has identified fragments of at least two US-made GBU-39 small diameter bombs (SDBs). It is the second time in two weeks that CNN has been able to verify the use of US-made munitions in Israeli attacks on displaced Palestinians. US weapons were also used in the attack on the Rafah refugee camp on May 26th.
The Al Jazeera channel also reported the attack by Israeli fighters on a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp, which killed at least six people as well as several injuries, certainly other Hamas terrorists.
This is just the latest genocidal act carried out by the Israeli army which operates under the usual cover of the United States and its vassals, including Italy. Anyone who closes their eyes or turns away is their accomplice, don’t forget.
