Florence, 6 June 2024 – Last weekend to board Florence Eye, the Ferris wheel that has illuminated the Florentine skyline from the beginning of December 2023 to today. Florence Eye, hosted at the entrance to the Cascine Park, in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, will in fact be disinstalled at the beginning of next week.
Those who have not yet had the opportunity to take a trip aboard the tallest Ferris wheel in Italy still have a few days available. From Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Florence Eye – with its 55 meters high – offered a special experience to Florentines and tourists for six months, a breathtaking 360° view of the historic centre, the Arno, the Cascine park and on the hills surrounding the city.
Florence Eye is powered by wind and solar energy, sensitive to the theme of the environment and sustainability. Frisbi Energia, an innovative Florentine startup, is powering Florence Eye and the surrounding attractions.
Florence Eye is created by The Wheel Srl, Runner Pizza, Mondobimbo Group Srl, Sicrea Srl and Secur&Secur Network Srl, with the media partnership of Radio Bruno, in collaboration with Confartigianato Firenze.
