“An opposition which, 3 days before the European vote, is campaigning on falsehoods relating to the post-flood reconstruction of Romagna is evidently an opposition which, in addition to lacking concrete proposals for the future of Europe and Italy, continues to focus on an incessant defamatory campaign against the institutions and the Meloni Government. An irresponsible behavior, which not only undermines citizens’ trust in the institutions, but which diverts attention from the tangible responsibilities of a Regional Council that plays buck-passing with the Government. The PD secretariat, before being head of the party through a fratricidal war with Bonaccini, was his Deputy with responsibility for the ecological transition and now the leader is incensed in the defense of the Governor, avoiding any examination of conscience and coherence. The Government, however, remains steadfast in its mission to help a land that was brought to its knees by water 12 months ago, but which has not given up, restoring 100% of the requests and placing itself alongside the citizens, as it has done several times. reiterated by President Meloni. Maybe it’s time for Schlein and the Democratic Party to think about what they haven’t been able to do for our region.”
