On the occasion of Republic Day the left takes to the streets against the reform of the prime ministership of the Meloni government. “I am decidedly against this reform – commented the mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala on the sidelines of the flag-raising ceremony in Piazza Duomo -, also because I don’t know what actual results it can give. Continuity of government is guaranteed by knowing how to govern, not by a law”. Furthermore, “the last thing I would like is to see the prerogatives of the President of the Republic taken away – he concluded -. We have had extraordinary presidents who have always worked very well for our Republic, so also from my point of view a radical no to this reform” .
“The government pays more attention to the territories”
“The invitation of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, should follow on the part of this government, greater attention to the territories“, added Sala, commenting on the words of the head of state who on the occasion of 2 June invited everyone to “cooperate for the common good”.
“I don’t know how to say it anymore but it’s clear that this government has never made an institutional visit to Milan – he added -, to deal with our institutions, and when I talk about institutions I’m not just talking about myself, on the contrary. Therefore, right what Mattarella says, but let’s also get help.”
San Siro: “Meeting with Oaktree to understand their plans”

“The budget will be affected by the lack of urbanization costs”
“In the budget of the Municipality of Milan this year there will be an additional problem due to the lack of urbanization costs, one consequence of the investigations into alleged building abusesthe. “This year we can add another serious problem – Sala then specified -. It is clear to everyone that we are already feeling the effects of the problems you are familiar with regarding urbanization costs. This problem adds to the chronic problem of resources for the operation of local public transport, but Sala has once again guaranteed that the ticket price will not be increased again during his mandate.
