THIENE – World Champion Of Karate killed by one acute tonsillitis. So he died at 46 years old Loris Comparin who is 23 times Italian Champion, 3 times European Champion, 4 times World Champion and 2 times Intercontinental Champion in the Karate specialty Kumite (Fighting). The athlete had been hospitalized for severe tonsillitis which then worsened into septicemia which led to his death after two weeks.
Comparin, a resident of Arsiero who has always worked in Thiene, leaves daughter Gloria, his father Oscar, his mother Giacomina, his sister Mara and his brother Nicola. He would have turned 47 on October 26th,
The president of the Italian Federation, Sean Henke, was shocked and was among the first to break the news: «Since we heard, like a bolt from the blue, of his hospitalization, we have hoped for days for a miracle, but not has arrived.
