In the midst of negotiations with Kia Joorabchian, Joshua Zirkzee’s agent, Milan has received an offer from Roma: the candidacy of Tammy Abraham. The deal for Bologna’s Dutch center forward is in stasis, due to the commissions issued by the agent to move his client elsewhere. The situation of the 26-year-old Englishman owned by the Giallorossi club, however, is completely different: having returned after a year or so from the cruciate injury in his left knee, Daniele De Rossi’s team decided to cut him out.
And so Abraham was put on the market and offered to several teams, he reports Tuttosport on newsstands today, including Fonseca’s Rossoneri. Compared to the objectives assessed up to now by the management of Via Aldo Rossi, the former Chelsea player has a price tag of 25 million plus bonuses, we read in the Turin newspaper, with a favorable salary of 4.5 million and the relief from the Growth Decree which could continue. At Milan Abraham would also meet up with old teammates he met in the Blues shirt, while he gained a lot of experience in Serie A under Mourinho’s management.
But also wanting to evaluate the cons of the operation, the unknown remains the physical status: the knee problem is over, but the 2023-24 season was mostly spent in the infirmary by the English striker born in ’97, so he needs to get back to his best form. Just a suggestion for the moment, given that the best option for Milan still remains Zirkzee.
