The lifeless body of a man was found this morning, Saturday 1st June, along the road from Rocca d’Evandro, in the province of Caserta, to Sant’Ambrogio sul Garigliano, in the Frosinone area, where he lived. He was called Emilio Locatelli and was 38 years old.

Some workers found him at the beginning of their working day: already lifeless, the body was lying on the asphalt. Still to reconstruct the exact causes of death and the precise time. In fact, according to the first investigations, it seems that he may have been the victim of a road accident, perhaps autonomous, overnight.

They were traveling along the road on the border between Lazio and Campania, in the Valle dei Santi area, when they noticed the body on the asphalt. They immediately raised the alarm. Once the operators arrived on site, however, nThey were unable to do anything other than confirm the man’s death. In addition to 118, the Carabinieri of the Sessa Aurunca Company were also on site and began carrying out the first investigations into the case.

According to initial investigations, the man was traveling along Via dei Querceti on his motorbike, perhaps to return home, when he lost control of the vehicle and ended up against a wall. The impact was extremely violent and it seems that Locatelli died instantly.

The body was then transferred to the morgue of the Santa Scolastica hospital in Cassino, where it remains at the disposal of the competent judicial authority. The police investigations continue. In the meantime, condolences are arriving from friends and the community of the small village in Frusinate where he lived.
