On the occasion of Republic Day, the Benedictine Park in Terme Vigliatore, tomorrow 2 June, from 10 in the morning until the evening, will be transformed into a lively center of celebrations.
It will be a day dedicated to community, inclusion and the celebration of our republican roots, with rich programming that promises to entertain and involve citizens of all ages.
This event, as the organizers report, is designed to be a moment of union and sharing for the whole community: “Republic Day is not just a historical memory, but an opportunity to celebrate together the values of freedom, democracy and solidarity that unite us as a nation. We invite all citizens to participate, to bring friends and family with them, and to experience this special day together.”
Program of the Day:
10:00 am: Opening of the event and official welcome.
From 10:00 to 19:30: Non-stop musical entertainment with an eclectic mix of live performances. Local bands, dance crews and DJ sets will alternate on stage and will range across different musical genres, offering something for all tastes.
Food Area: To satisfy all palates, a varied gastronomic selection will be available. You can enjoy delicious pulled pork sandwiches, bubble tea, poke, sausage sandwiches, kebabs and the traditional Sicilian cuppo. A true feast for the senses, with dishes that combine tradition and culinary innovation.
Conclusion of the Event: At 8.00 pm, to close the day in a solemn and reflective way, the Corpus Domini procession will be held through the avenues of the park which will culminate in the Benedictine church, the historic center of the municipality of Terme Vigliatore, to experience a moment of meditation and spirituality open to all.
The event will be held at the Parco dei Benedettini, an easily accessible and large place, which guarantees safety and comfort for all participants, located in Via 15 Settembre in Terme Vigliatore.
Relaxation areas, refreshment points and adequate toilets will be set up to ensure that it is a pleasant day for everyone.
