Gas Leak in Rome. Several patrols of the XIV Montemario Group of the Local Police of Rome Capital intervened in via della Stazione di Ottavia for a gas leak.
The local police reported. For security reasons, the officers closed via Casal del Marmo, between via Trionfale and via della Stazione di Ottavia, and via Trionfale, between via Casal del Marmo and via Ipogeo degli Ottavi in both directions.
Ottavia train station is currently closed. Firefighters’ intervention is underway. To allow the intervention, some families from the adjacent buildings were temporarily evacuated.

“This afternoon, in Rome, in via della Stazione di Ottavia, a third-party company external to the Company damaged a gas pipeline causing a leak.” This is what a spokesperson for Italgas said, specifying that the technicians from the Italgas Emergency Service, “who promptly arrived on site, are working to secure the area and repair the damage suffered.”
