The 77-year-old passed away two weeks after emergency hospitalization at Bufalini. This is the second victim of the collision which caused the death on the spot of the passenger of the second car involved

The tragic head-on on Wednesday 15 May in Sant’Alberto brought with it a second victim: 71-year-old Gabriella Rinaldi from Ravenna lost her life in the collision. who was traveling with her husband. Two weeks after the event, Romeo Giacomoni, the 77-year-old from Ravenna who was traveling with his wife in the second car involved, also passed away (the news was reported by Corriere Romagna on newsstands today). Since May 15, Giacomoni had been hospitalized at the Bufalini hospital in Cesena with the maximum severity code, and a forensic autopsy has now been ordered on his body.

From 1988 to 2012 Giacomoni was president of Clt Ravenna Logistica e Trasporti, a cooperative of which he was later a member and which is now managed by his son Enrico. In addition to his son, the former manager also leaves behind his wife, 76-year-old Giovanna Buscaroli who on the day of the accident was driving the Dr 4 which, for reasons yet to be ascertained, crossed into the oncoming lane causing the head-on collision.
At first, Buscaroli was also rushed to Bufalini and hospitalized in a coma. In the last few hours, however, the doctors transferred her to the intensive care unit of the Ravenna hospital.
