Green Bulletin until 9 June – Agency for territorial security – and civil protection

Bologna – Valid until midnight on Sunday 9 June, The Information bulletin 08/2024 (521.61 KB) was issued on the basis of medium-term weather forecasts, the state of vegetation, the number and size of fires found in recent days.

At the end of the meeting on May 22nd held via video conference it was decided to keep the scenario of current risk, that is the lowest level corresponding to the Color Greenas established by the case studies indicated by the Department of Civil Protection.

Today’s meeting called via video conference was attended by the Agency for Territorial Security and Civil Protection, the Regional Directorate of the Fire Brigade, the Regional Forestry Carabinieri Command and Arpae-ER.

Weather situation: widespread instability continues, affecting the entire regional territory.

A comeback of the anticyclonic field is expected next week, however Atlantic disturbances are still possible which will bring about alternation between calmer phases and instability with precipitation and temperatures in the average for the period.

Given the situation and the trend for the following days, therefore, taking into account the evapotranspiration conditions of the vegetation, in the meeting of 22 May it was concluded that “the weather-climatic conditions and the humidity of the vegetable fuel are such as to generate a fire with very low fire intensity and very slow propagation”, as reported in the Citizen Information Bulletin, which summarizes the risk scenarios and some rules of conduct.

The situation will be re-evaluated during the next meetings.

Where possible, burns should be communicated in the following ways:

  • by calling the Regional Fire Brigade Toll-Free Number: 800 841 051;
  • via the Web App that can be used via this link:

In any case, the burning activity must take place in small piles, in the absence of wind and end within 48 hours of the communication, which will automatically be sent to the Fire Brigade, Municipality and Forestry Carabinieri for any checks.
