Teleperformance Italia is the best company to work for

According to women: inclusion and gender equality policies also bring her among the ‘Sustainability Leaders’

The CEO Pisa: “Result of a new way of doing business based on the valorization of collaborators

Teleperformance Italy

Taranto – Teleperformance Italia is the best company to work for in our country according to women. This was certified by the international consultancy firm Great Place to Work® Italia, which analyzes working environments by measuring the opinions of collaborators and which a few days ago drew up the ranking for female workers ‘Best Workplace For Women’. A result achieved thanks to policies of organizational well-being and respect and valorisation of skills, which led Teleperformance Italia, at the same time, to confirm for the second consecutive year its presence in the ‘Leaders of Sustainability’ club of companies drawn up by Statista together with the Sun 24 Hours.

The first place obtained in the ‘Best Workplace For Women’ ranking places the company – specialized in customer service and business support services, which employs around 2000 people in Taranto and another 500 in Fiumicino – ahead of 19 other companies that stood out in terms of diversity and gender equity. The ranking was drawn up using two indices: the first relates the quality of a working environment to the degree of trust within it, the second measures the degree of well-being and satisfaction of female workers through a series of specific questions on topics such as equal pay, transparency and meritocracy.

“We have been working for years on a new way of doing business based on the valorization of collaborators – explains the CEO of Teleperformance Italia Diego Pisa –. We focus on gender inclusion, on building equal employment opportunities, growth programs and positive actions in all phases of business processes, as well as on the elimination of discrimination. Since 2022 we have been drafting the sustainability report on a voluntary basis to report the company’s political choices and economic-financial commitments. A great commitment is made towards the female population of our corporate community, which exceeds 70%, positively impacting all employees. It is an all-round job that leads our company to take an interest in all aspects of sustainability.”

Many initiatives have been implemented by Teleperformance Italia which have led to the first place in the ‘Best Workplace For Women’ ranking and the mention among the ‘Sustainability Leader’ companies: from the calendar of events throughout the month of March of ‘TP4i – Teleperformance for inclusion’ dedicated precisely to the issues of diversity, equity and inclusion, to in-depth webinars on parenting, digital transformation, female entrepreneurship, financial education and economic violence, female empowerment and gender language. Then there is ‘TP welcome baby’, which gives 20 days of holiday to new parents, whether men or women, also designed to stimulate the growth of the culture of equal distribution of family burdens. Last but not least, the psychological support, appreciated and used by the working population, also extended to the employees’ families following the success of the initiative.
