‘Carl Hiaasen’s Bad Monkey’ with Vince Vaughn


Apple TV+ reveals the first images of Carl Hiaasen’s Bad Monkeythe new comedy from the award-winning executive producer Bill Lawrence (Scrubs, Ted Lasso, Shrinking) played by the actor, producer and screenwriter Vince Vaughn, here also in the role of executive producer. Based on the novel by Carl Hiaasenbestseller of New York Times and timeless cult, the 10-episode series will debut on August 14 on AppleTV+ with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Wednesday until October 9th.

Produced by Warner Bros. Television and developed by executive producer and showrunner Lawrence with his Doozer Productions with Jeff Ingold, Matt Tarses, Marcos Siega, Vince Vaughn And Liza Katzer, Carl Hiaasen’s Bad Monkey tells the story of Andrew Yancy (Vaughn) who, after being kicked out of the Miami Police Department, now works as a health inspector in the Keys. After stumbling upon a case that begins with a human arm fished out by tourists, he realizes that if he can prove it was a murder, he could be reinstated in the business. To do so, however, he will first have to interface with a series of strange Florida characters and an evil monkey.

Also in the cast L. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, Meredith Hagner, Natalie Martinez, Alex Moffat, Michelle Monaghan, Ronald Peet And Jodie Turner-Smith, with guest stars John Ortiz, Zach Braff And Charlotte Lawrence in his television debut.
