The Belgian Poker Challenge of Namur ended with a spade conquered right on the wire by an Italian player, thanks to Dario Sorrenti. Nothing to do for Francesco Biribao in the Mystery Bounty, which however consoles itself with a nice prize. In Barcelona the Romanian Valls wins, while the Italian ISOP Championships continue in Nova Gorica.

Much sought after, strongly desired, finally arrived. The spade, a symbol of victory in live PokerStars tournaments such as this Belgian Poker Challenge in Namur, finally ended up in the hands of an Italian player. It is due to Dario Sorrenti, winner of one of the last tournaments on the calendar, event #29. It was a €550 Deep Stack, which was attended by 139 people and which was on its final day yesterday. Sorrenti prevailed on a final table with a strong home-style feel, with 5 out of 9 players being Belgian nationals. The victory came through a deal stipulated with Rayane Ben Mohamed. It didn’t go as well Francesco Biribaowho had qualified for the final table of Mystery Bounty Championship from €800 as chipleader, but was unable to confirm himself, finishing in seventh position. However, the monetary reward was excellent, also thanks to around 15 thousand euros in mysterious bounties caught. The success went to the Slovakian Havavkaas can be appreciated from the payout of the last table:

We close with i ISOP Italian Championships 2024 underway at Perla in Nova Gorica, yesterday they will award one of the most coveted bracelets: that of the Italian Deep Championship. Among the 19 players who qualified for the final day, the expert finally prevailed Paolo Fantini, heads up against Belarusian Uladzimir.
