Massimiliano Allegri and Juventus, today the key day. The fate of the Juventus coach should be clarified in these hours, after the stormy post-match that followed the Italian Cup final, won 1-0 against Atalanta. The relationship between the coach and the club could lead today to his dismissal or, according to some rumours, even to a dismissal which would put a traumatic end to the association. Allegri, who arrived at Continassa this morning for the team’s training, left the Juventus center around 1.30pm with his own car, a 500, as also documented by the numerous videos released on social media by fans and professionals.

Meanwhile, the matter involving Allegri and Guido Vaciago, director of Tuttosport, is resolved. The journalist, after the Italian Cup final, was verbally attacked by the coach. Today, with a joint statement appearing on the newspaper’s website, calm returns: “With reference to the events that occurred after the Atalanta-Juventus match and regarding the media ‘back and forth’ between them yesterday, the coach Massimiliano Allegri and the director of Tuttosport Guido Vaciago declare that, after speaking to each other, they have resolved the unfortunate situation that concerned them and have defined all their issues with a spirit of collaboration and a sense of responsibility”.
“Massimiliano Allegri regretted what happened on Wednesday night, explaining that he did not intend to threaten or insult Guido Vaciago at all. Thus the climate of cordiality, relaxation and maximum human and professional respect that has always existed between them was re-established”, we read .
The case came under the spotlight of the FIGC prosecutor’s office which opened a case.
