San Vito, fire hits homes in San Priamo.

Today, one of the fires that affected the regional territory required a coordinated and significant intervention by the Forestry Corps, which included the use of aerial vehicles in addition to teams on the ground. The fire in question occurred in the countryside of the municipality of San Vito, precisely in the locality of “San Priamo”.

The coordination of the firefighting operations was entrusted to the staff of the Muravera Forestry Corps Station, assisted by a helicopter from the CFVA base in Pula. On the ground, a team from the Forestas Agency of the EFS Villaputzu – Turri Motta construction site and a team from the San Vito Fire Brigade were deployed.

The aerial operations ended at 6.30 pm, but the forestry patrol personnel remained on site to clean up and make the area affected by the fire safe. This handbook highlights the effectiveness and speed of emergency teams in managing fires, essential to prevent greater damage to the environment and the local community.
