In the year of his fiftieth birthday, Intecs organized a Genoa the first in a series of networking meetings aimed at stimulating synergy and cooperation between technological SMEs, startups and academic entities, with the aim of sharing knowledge, ideas and business opportunities. The event was hosted by SIIT, the Ligurian technological district.

At the meeting, opened by the president of Siit, Remo Perticaand from Massimo MicangeliPresident of Intecs, also the Liguria Region with Francesco Casohead of the strategic development sector of the productive fabric and the Ligurian economy, and the municipality of Genoa, with the councilor for mobility and the environment, Matteo Campora.

“The SIIT is an entity that pushes collaboration between large, small and medium-sized enterprises in a supply chain logic which is also desired at the European Commission level and allows good technological transfer on the basis of research projects financed at European level
national and regional, thus allowing collaboration and growth of local businesses”, he explained Francesco Caso.

“The presence of our company in Genoa had a slightly different history and motivations compared to the usual ones when a new office or headquarters is opened in Italy or abroad – explained the President of Itecs Massimiliano Micangeli – because we believe that within SIIT there are numerous entities smaller in size than ours, which bring skills that we lack and with which we can create synergy, to participate in large European and national tenders and allow us to deal with more clients and issues vast areas that perhaps we cannot tackle alone.”
