A 39-year-old man died after losing control of his scooter and hitting the asphalt violently.

A new mortal accident occurred in Sicily: a 39-year-old man lost his life in Palermo. The accident occurred on Viale Regione Siciliana in the direction of Catania, in the stretch between the Bonagia bridge and the former Oreto roundabout. The man was on his scooter when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and ended up violently on the asphalt.

The impact on the ground left no escape for the man and when help arrived they attempted to revive him without being able to do anything else to save him. The municipal police were also present on site to carry out the necessary investigations and understand the dynamics of the accident. According to an initial reconstruction, the accident was independent. The man may have lost control of the vehicle to avoid a pothole. Investigations into the case are underway.
