The highly anticipated new edition of the Feste da Viarte is approaching, an event that every year, on a Sunday in May, brings visitors and customers from the area to walk the gentle paths of Mount Quarin in Cormons. Here the courtyards of the houses are opened to the public under the banner of food and wine and music. The event, as far as this year is concerned, will take place on Sunday 19 May and will unfold along a route that has 13 stages.
Among these we can find “at the base”, in order, Mercatino (via Matteotti), Il Prosciutto Itinerante and Casa Meridiana (piazza XXIV Maggio), while along via Dante there will be Eccolo and Al Giardino Ghiotto begins with the Bang! Going up the Cret path, Casa Caciottoli, Gruppo mycologico, Casa Paradis and Due del monte will be available and open to the public. Following will be Casa Orzan, in which the traditional Cormonese association of Cormovida, Fulcherio Ungirspach, EventualMente Haus Salamander and, finally, Antiche Cultivar will no longer operate.
Right in Casa Orzan there will be the “Viarte dai fruts” (Children’s Viarte), where there will be playful and recreational fun for the little ones, starting from ancient games, moving on to the recycling workshops organized by Isonitna Ambiente, the one with stabilized flowers by Paola D’Andrea, to close with those cared for by Cisi and the Waldorf association. The use of the recyclable glass introduced last year has been confirmed for this edition and, an absolute novelty, all the beers sold from the stands scattered across the Quarin will be artisanal.
Among the appointments scheduled for Sunday, beyond to the walks we have already talked aboutat Casa Orzan there will be the presentation of the book “Il Giardino dei panda” by the author Gianna M. Venier, while at the Ronc dei Capucins there will be the opportunity to listen to some of the best voices of the contemporary poetic panorama.
In fact, the Friulian Lussia di Uanis will perform, who will present some writings from her new book “di tiara and aga”, followed by Antonello Bifulco, who will read from his new publication “Parlando su un’altalena rusti”, written together with Sara Comuzzo. In addition to these, the Slovenian writer Kristina Kočan, the award-winning author Marco Marangoni, as well as Marilisa Trevisan and Nikola Skert will also be present. Finally, from 3.30 pm, at the 12th stage on the Quarin square, there will be live music in Friulian.
