Green lovers, get ready! Sunday 19 May 2024 returns Open Gardensthe event that invites you to discover the most beautiful gardens in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

A day dedicated to discovering the public and private gardens of Friuli Venezia Giulia, to admire gardens of various types, including rocky, Italian, ancient, Japanese, with aquatic plants and gardens/vineyards. On Sunday 19 May 2024 the appointment with “Giardini Aperti” will be repeated, an event organized by the gardening club “Friends in the Garden” with the aim of promoting culture and respect for greenery.

After the success of previous editions, the event celebrates its 13th edition with an invitation to the public to visit 50 private gardens scattered throughout the regional territory. The owners will open the doors to their gardens for free, offering the opportunity to explore spaces of various sizes and themes, all characterized by a passion for gardening and the desire to keep the culture of greenery alive in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

What awaits you

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak directly with the owners of the gardens, receive gardening advice and learn new techniques for growing and caring for plants. The event also represents an opportunity to raise public awareness of the importance of biodiversity and environmental sustainability.

• 50 private gardens open free to the public
• Gardens of all types: rocky, Italian style, ancient, Japanese, with aquatic plants and gardens/vineyards

The gardens will be open from 10am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 7.30pm.

The event will be held even in case of bad weather.
