Mojang and Microsoft have announced that Star Comics will publish the Minecraft manga in Italy. It will be available from November And it will cost €5.20 per volume (paperbacks measuring 11.5×17.5 cm).
The manga is described as being able to offer a “whole new narrative dimension” designed for all types of readers, but according to the information it seems especially suitable for little ones.
Kazuyoshi Seto he wrote and drew the manga which was serialized in Japan by Shogakukan starting in 2020 in the children’s magazine “CoroCoro Comic”.
What to expect from the Minecraft manga

According to the manga’s official description, it “introduces fresh and engaging narrative elements that mirror the excitement and inventiveness of the original game.” We can therefore expect that the character of the series will dedicate himself to building, fighting against various creatures and discovering secrets in the world created by Mojang.
The themes underlying the Minecraft manga adventure are the most obvious, considering the nature of the video game: creativity, collaboration and continuous discovery. There will be lots of cartoon action, humor and twists, in a world made of pixels and voxels.
As mentioned, it will be available in Italy from November 2024. The second issue will arrive in December, but after that will take place every two months.
The statement reads: “And this is how Minecraft, with a community of millions of monthly active users and 15 years of history, continues to inspire and stimulate creativity on all levels. The Star Comics manga series does nothing but add a new chapter to an already extraordinary story in itself, offering fans of all ages a different way to experience and explore their favorite video game, for a truly unique viewing experience.”
