Brawl during the night in a bar in Vomero: a customer was apparently attacked by two men while consuming at the counter, the perpetrators then fled.
Two people would suddenly enter the bar in via Enrico Alvino, in Vomero, and allegedly attacked one of the customers, starting a fight. Reconstruction still underway, following the episode that occurred during the night in the hilly neighborhood of Naples; A patrol from the General Prevention Office of the Naples Police Headquarters intervened on site. The images of the attack, taken by a surveillance camera of the business, were spread on social media by the deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelliwhich on its channels reports the testimony of the owner of the business:
They entered and began to beat him savagely. We didn’t understand what was happening. They turned the bar upside down, blood flowed freely and spread everywhere. My daughter, who was scared at the checkout, felt sick. It’s a no-man’s land here, there wasn’t a policeman in the entire area or in the adjacent ones. We are in a jungle.
The two disappeared before the arrival of the police. The officers collected statements from several present, including bar employees; the reasons for the attack remain unknown at the moment. Adds Borrelli:
We hope that the attackers will be brought to justice as soon as possible. Is it possible that there are people who go around beating others for no reason?
Is it possible to have so much freedom of action without any control on the streets? Few officers and few patrols and so violent and criminals have the green light.
We need a strengthening of the police forces, we have been asking for it for some time and it was promised by the competent Minister but up to now they have been empty words.
