Ribbon cutting in the center of Cosenza, precisely in Via Giuliani 7 (crossroad of Corso Mazzini), last night, 6 May, for the “People Flow Pub”. The old “People Pub” has changed management and has been intensively revisited by the new owner, the 33-year-old Enrico De Luca from Cosenza, who we asked to introduce us to his new place:
“Let’s say it straight away: this is not a ‘reopening’, but a real ‘new opening’ (even if we have kept part of the previous name).
I have been active in the hospitality and real estate sector for a long time… but my dream was to one day create my own place… and we are finally here.
The People Flow Pub is a completely renovated place, in which we have tried to take care of every single aesthetic and functional detail. At the entrance you will find a lounge, with sofa and armchairs, where you can taste cocktails and wines. The shelves containing wines, spirits and products for cocktails reign supreme.
The rest of the room is furnished with tables, benches and chairs, fully padded, for maximum comfort. The play of lights in the room are truly special.
In the afternoon we offer an aperitif with selected cured meats, cheeses and pickles, accompanied by a glass or cocktail of your choice (6.00pm/8.00pm). But also from the possibility of choosing between 8 different beers on tap.
The sandwiches, around 25, were designed to give an important culinary experience, with the selection of the highest quality raw materials, including meat, from the Bruni Macelleria. In addition to sandwiches, you can taste different cuts of meat, salads, Sila potato chips, accompanied by particular sauces.
Many ask me why “Flow”. When I think of people, of “People”, I imagine a continuous flow of people. The concept of “flow” refers to the many people who I hope will pass by the venue, but also to the cuisine, music and sports proposals.
I don’t like to think of something static, but of something that can always propose new situations. It won’t be the usual pub, I have no doubts about that…“
