Accident with three injured on the state road – Chieti

GUARDIAGRELE. Three people were injured in an accident that occurred yesterday afternoon in Colle Luna, in the municipal area of ​​Guardiagrele. The collision, at a curve along the state road 81 that connects Guardiagrele to Casoli, involved a Fiat Doblò van on one side and a Citroën C4 on the other. For reasons yet to be ascertained, the two vehicles came into contact at a bend. Of the three injured, the most serious one was considered serious MDF, born in 1949 and resident in the municipality of Palombaro, who traveled in the Citroën together with his wife, two years younger. Once the emergency services were alerted, the local police officers who took care of the investigations, the firefighters of the Chieti provincial command and an ambulance intervened on site. What worried me more than the others were MDF’s conditions, for which the 118 health workers requested the intervention of an air ambulance.
The helicopter landed on the pitch of the Primavera sports field and transported the 75-year-old to the civil hospital in Pescara, where he was hospitalized as he was diagnosed with polytrauma.
The conditions of the other two injured people, the wife of the 75-year-old who was traveling in the Citroën and the man who was driving the Doblò, were judged to be less serious.
