He died at the age of 28 in the clinic, after surgery to remove an angioma in his left ear. After two hours of surgery on her parents and her waiting partner, the doctors could do nothing but announce that the girl had died “from cardiac arrest”. Michela Andretta, from Acilia, would have turned twenty-nine in a few days, on May 12th. That operation which, in some respects, could be considered routine and usually without any particular complications on the horizon, had been scheduled at the “Fabia Mater” on Prenestina for some time. In the past she had undergone other operations, but never a crisis due to the anesthesia and the girl had never shown any significant health problems. On the contrary. She is sporty, she had danced as a hip hop dancer for years. Now she dreamed of starting a family with her Andrea.

DESPAIR

The death of Michela it came like a bolt from the blue, plunging the family members, assisted by the lawyer Marina Colella, into absolute desperation. Her boyfriend, Andrea Carboni, a former footballer, well known as the youth coach of Pro Calcio Aurelio, immediately ran to the police at the Centocelle station to file a complaint. The military seized the medical records and sent an initial detailed information to the Prosecutor’s Office. The medical examiner from ASL 2 also intervened on site. The girl’s body is now available to the judicial authorities. Tomorrow the prosecutor Francesco Paolo Marinaro will assign the task for the autopsy to be carried out. THE RECONSTRUCTION

SWEETNESS

Long, straight hair, an always dazzling smile and lots of sweetness. «Michela was such a sweet girl, always smiling, never indiscreet – her friends say – it will be impossible to forget her». They met Andrea about ten years ago. Always together, always passionate until they decide to go and live together in Tarragon and build their own future. On their social profiles, images of trips together, birthdays, evenings with friends, “I love you” and little hearts flow. On TikTok Michela posted images of her activity as a lash artist, i.e. an expert in eyelash lamination, and those of her beloved dog.
Now investigators will have to shed light on why she died so suddenly. Whether the death is due to a complication of the operation, to incompetence or to exogenous factors, due to allergic shock or unknown pathologies.
