Even in Brianza they blow up the post office: what’s happening
Descriptive text here

On the night between 12 and 13 April the post offices of Arosio and Tavernerio were blown up. Not a small explosion considering the images (under Arosio).

ATMs were targeted. Two weeks later, the same fate befell last night the post office in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII in Brugherio, Brianza. Windows destroyed, chairs thrown beyond the building and rubble.

The thieves went into action on the night of Wednesday May Day: around half past two, the neighborhood was awakened by a loud bang due to an explosion that hit the post office. The criminals fled while the police arrived on site and are now investigating the episode.

It is not currently known whether the thieves managed to escape with the loot and how much it amounted to. Also in this case the gang’s target was in all probability the automatic teller machine of the post office where, from Thursday 2 May, pensions would also have been paid, but the damage reported involved the entire building with pieces of debris also thrown meters away. The investigations are ongoing and given the circumstances it cannot be ruled out that it could be the same gang.
