The stabbing occurred this afternoon, Wednesday 1 May. But the story began much earlier, in the middle of the night. A settling of accounts ended in blood and now the Carabinieri of the Pioltello Company are investigating.
Stabbed at the Satellite
A 33-year-old man was found on the ground in via Cimarosa, with a deep cut to his abdomen and head trauma. The intervention in yellow code of medical vehicles and an ambulance from the White Cross of Carugate was immediate. Initially the man’s condition did not seem serious, but given the copious loss of blood the healthcare staff deemed it more appropriate to transport him under code red to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza. From initial information, his life is not in danger.
Brawl between several people
According to what was said by the witnesses who called 112, the wounding followed a fight involving at least ten people, all of South American origin, which occurred around 1pm in via Cimarosa. The person who was rescued, among other things, was already known to the police for a history linked to drug dealing. The Carabinieri of the Pioltello Company intervened on site and collected the statements and carried out the necessary investigations. Also because the episode could be traced back to another event that occurred on the same day, but several hours earlier.
Attack in the night
In fact, around 3pm today, the military had already been called to a fight that also occurred in via Cimarosa, with the request also for medical personnel and the intervention of an ambulance from the Green Cross of Pioltello. However, when the health workers and the Carabinieri arrived, those involved had already disappeared. It could be the same subjects who met again 10 hours later with the clash that led to the injury of the 33-year-old hospitalized.
Investigations are underway by the investigative unit and the Pioltelle station, the most probable hypothesis being that it was a settling of scores between people involved in some drug ring.
