Emilia Romagna (in the photo) wins its third title in the last four editions of the Tournament of Five-a-side football regions for the Under 15 category: it had already happened in 2018 and 2019 before the event was interrupted due to Covid and resumed only last year.
In the first final played this morning at the “PalaCalafiore” in Reggio Calabria, Bottacini’s team beat the Marche with a clear 4-0 thanks to goals from Lissa, Dattoli, D’Adamo and Minguzzi.
The finalists and referees were awarded by the President of the LND Giancarlo Abete together with the presidents of the Calabria, Emilia Romagna and Marche CRs, i.e. Saverio Mirarchi, Simone Alberici and Ivo Panichi as well as the LND federal councilor Maria Rita Acciardi and the councilor of the Football Division at 5, Stefano Salviati.
Today we also take to the field for the other finals. Just a few minutes ago, Piedmont VdA secured the second title in its history in the Under 17 category by beating Sicily 8-1 in the second final of the five-a-side football Regions Tournament played this morning at the “PalaCalafiore” in Reggio Calabria. In the afternoon, at 3pm, there will be space for the final match of the women’s event between Veneto and Calabria, with the May Day appointment reserved for the match between Calabria and Sardinia, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sport, channel 255.
