A talent a day, Anhá Cande: the Youth League striker is the future of Porto

Among the great protagonists of this edition of the Youth League there is certainly the Portuguese-Guinean Anhá Cande, winner of the top scorer title of the competition dedicated to the best Under 19s playing in Europe with 10 goals in just 6 games. The class of 2007, who will wear the Porto shirt from the summer of 2022, has earned the club’s respect with bunches of goals and always convincing performances.

Due to his exuberant physicality and innate sense of goal, we brought him closer to Didier Drogba, who he also resembles from the point of view of leadership and spectacular plays: it is not uncommon to see him try to score in acrobatics, also facilitated by a physique that allows him to often win aerial duels. In this perhaps he is also similar to Osimhen. It is not excluded that next year the Portuguese club will have him train continuously in the First Team, giving him the opportunity to taste the football of the grown-ups, where his physique will certainly make less of a difference compared to youth football.
