NARNI Stones the Sant’Angostino elevator, banned from returning to the city. The measure was taken against a twenty-five-year-old of Moroccan origins domiciled in Narni but resident in Lombardy, who last week had damaged the ski lift.
During a quick investigation, thanks to the videos from the surveillance cameras, the carabinieri of the Narni station managed to identify the perpetrator of the gesture. According to the reconstruction carried out, on the afternoon of Wednesday 17 April, the young man was inside the cloister of Sant’Agostino. At a certain point, realizing that he was alone, he threw a piece of brick against the elevator window, shattering it. Damage estimated at around five thousand euros, and the system unusable. The mayor’s complaint was immediate. Thanks to the viewing of the tapes recorded by the cameras, the military managed to trace the young man. Once identified, he was tracked down and taken to the barracks. The boy, already with several criminal records, did not provide any justification for his action. The complaint was filed against him.
Not only. Today the Carabinieri of the Narni station proceeded with the notification of the provision prohibiting return to the city of Narni for two years.
