WORDS – «Juve played rather poorly on Tuesday, but with a random goal in the 83rd minute they took the Italian Cup final away from Lazio who would have deserved it. Yesterday he put Milan under, especially in the second half, but he didn’t find the goal, he only got one point and now he even risks third place: he can feel the breath of Thiago Motta’s Bologna. In a couple of hours will anyone remember the performance of Allegri’s team? I doubt about it. In recent days, however, I have heard positive comments on the Bianconeri’s performance at the Olimpico: the result drugs the brains, even the healthiest ones. Juve-Milan was the synthesis match of our paradoxes and cultural prejudices: two great professionals faced each other overwhelmed by the same fate (in the dark sea of economic emergencies) even if for diametrically opposite reasons. In the end Allegri will pay for the ordinariness of this Juve, not the results (the scudetto with Gatti, Weah, Kostic, Locatelli, Iling-Junior and Alex Sandro would not even have been achieved by David Copperfield): Max has in fact brought home everything he he had been asked by the Company in the summer; Pioli will lose his job for the results, not for the play which has long been among the most brilliant in the championship».
