VALDAONE. Three workers were transferred to the hospital for checks and further investigations, they were intoxicated during some maintenance activities at the hydroelectric power plant.
The alert was triggered around 3.45pm today, Tuesday 23 April Boazzo plants in Val del Chiese.
The station filled up with carbon monoxide due, according to initial reconstructions, to a defect in a power generator in the engine room.
The workers managed to exit the plant while the Single number for emergencies.
The arrival of the items was immediate and timely firefighters of Daone and Praso for the safety and reclamation of the area.
Meanwhile the healthcare personnel took charge of the workers involved in the accident. After initial assistance they were transferred to the hyperbaric chamber of the Bolzano hospital.
The most serious is a 40-year-old, who was hospitalized. Fortunately, no one’s life is in danger. The reconstruction of the causes of the intoxication is entrusted to carabinieri and ai technicians.
