Transferred under code red to the Santa Maria delle Grazie hospital Pozzuoli, Antonio he lost his life less than 24 hours later due to the serious injuries he suffered following the impact. The man, in fact, was trapped between the sheets of his car and the intervention of the firefighters was necessary.
The driver of the van, however, was a 20-year-old Giugliano who was immediately subjected to alcohol and drug tests, the results of which are still awaited. The vehicle was seized, while the young man is under investigation for vehicular homicide.
The 60-year-old’s body is now available to the judicial authorities for investigations into the case.
