The police arrested a 42-year-old from Sagnino (Como) for robbery, injury and resistance. The man allegedly tried to steal goods from a supermarket during closing hours, he allegedly headbutted the manager who tried to block him and kicked an officer who was taking him to the police station.

A 42-year-old man was arrested on charges of robbery, personal injury, resistance and violence against a public official in Sagnino, in the province of Como. The man would have tried to steal inside a supermarket and, once stopped by the manager, he would have trimmed two warheads in an attempt to escape. When the police intervened to take him to the police station, the 42-year-old allegedly insulted the officers and hit one in the hand with a kick.
The episode during the supermarket closing time
According to what was reconstructed during the investigations and thanks to the testimonies of the staff of other shops present in the Sagnino shopping center, the episode occurred on the evening of Thursday 2 May around 8pm. It was closing time for the supermarket and the 42-year-old, of Moroccan nationality, resident in the town and in good standing with his residence permit, he tried to enter anyway to make some purchases.
At the request of the staff of go out from the shop, the 42-year-old would have reacted badly when he returned to the supermarket again passing under the shutter still not completely lowered. Having grabbed some goods, he tried to escape before being blocked by the manager who he allegedly headbutted twice.

The arrest of the 42-year-old
Staff from other shops in the shopping complex called the police. When officers arrived, the 42-year-old still had the goods in hand. The policemen listened to the director’s testimony, still soreand the supermarket cashier.
When the 42-year-old, already known to the police, was about to be taken to the police station he would have started to insult the officers and allegedly kicked one of them in the hand (five-day prognosis). Man was, therefore, arrested for robbery, personal injury, resistance and violence against a public official.
