On 9 and 18 April the Fire Brigade of the Provincial Command of Vibo Valentia held information meetings at the schools within the Ricadi State Comprehensive Institute
In particular, students from the primary and lower secondary schools of Ricadi, Spilinga and Santa Domenica participated in the activity.
During the meetings, held by the Special Coordinator Director Domenico Ferito, the institutional tasks of the Fire Brigade carried out with the use of particular equipment and means were illustrated and topics relating to safety at home and at school were discussed with particular reference to the methods implementation of the evacuation plan in case of emergency.
The Fire Brigade of the Ricadi detachment then illustrated the vehicles supplied by showing the equipment being loaded.
Around 150 young people participated in the two days and showed particular interest in the activities carried out by the firefighters, demonstrating all their curiosity through a series of questions on the topics covered.
