Descriptive text here

A hacker attack has been underway since yesterday on the IT systems of SYNLAB Italia, a platform that provides medical diagnosis services. Synlab itself communicated this with a post on its social channels. “SYNLAB – we read – informs all Patients and Customers that it has suffered a hacker attack on its IT systems throughout the national territory. As a precaution, as soon as the attack was identified and in accordance with company IT security procedures, all company IT systems in Italy were immediately deactivated.”

All activities and collection of reports suspended

“The company – continues the press release – promptly established a task force, made up of internal and external professionals, and is working to mitigate the impacts and restore its systems as soon as possible, in collaboration with the competent authorities. Unfortunately, due of the current situation, we inform our Customers and Patients that all activities at sampling points, medical centers and laboratories in Italy remain suspended until further notice, including the download and collection of reports”. “SYNLAB – concludes the post – will keep its users informed on developments of the situation through its social media”.

Again this morning on the Synlab Facebook page users are asking for explanations and clarifications on appointments in the next few hours, but Sylnab simply replies that it will notify users as soon as the problems are resolved.
