They set fire to waste in Via Tonale, arsonists in action in Albano Sant’Alessandro

Albano Sant’Alessandro. A series of fires, of malicious origin, set in via Tonale in Albano Sant’Alessandro and reported by the special sworn guards of the Italian Surveillance. The event occurred on the night between Thursday and Friday, at 1.15 am, when the patrols of the security institute in Via della Clementina, during a normal control of the area, saw the flames breaking out along the road, close to a series of of companies. According to an initial reconstruction, in fact, it seems that someone chose to set fire to the pile of cardboard which, due to the collection that should have taken place this morning, Friday 19 April, by the Municipality, had been left in front of the waste collection trolley.

The firefighters intervened immediately and took steps to put out the flames and clean up the affected area. Together with them also the Zanica carabinieri. From an initial reconstruction it seems that the fire did not cause material damage to the companies.
