The IISS Oriani-Tandoi of Corato wins, with the short film entitled “Working to Die”, the national competition “From parliamentary classrooms to school classrooms. Constitution lessons”, as 2023-2024, announced by the Senate of the Republic and the Chamber of deputies in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit.
The essay, created by a group of students from classes I and II A of the Liceo Classico and 2nd I IPC and coordinated by the teachers, profs. Silvia Di Bisceglie, Giuseppe Scardigno, Daniela Gataleta and Eliana De Benedittis, proposes a plastic representation of the work situation in Italy also in light of the increasingly frequent unrelated deaths and has the aim of promoting the culture of safety in the workplace, given that safety cannot be improvisation, much less the impassive application of a rule. Instead, it must be an expression of a culture embedded in the global formation of the person and it is for this reason that the school, as an educational community that mobilizes and builds the education of future generations, is the place in which to begin to build the culture of safety.
The awards ceremony will be held on May 29th at 5.00 pm in the Chamber of Parliamentary Groups, in the Chamber of Deputies.
